The belt is marked “Hunter” and “145 LG” on back with 25, .44 caliber cartridge loops. The belt appears to be a later vintage from the holster. Its 2” wide and 44” long, unlined, with original stitching and nickel plated buckle. The belt is in the same condition as the holster.

Another exceptional piece of antique gun leather is this Heiser flap holster and cartridge belt for a 7 ½” Colt SAA or 1878 double action revolver. The old west leather Holster is marked “Heiser Denver” in the logo type from the late 1920’s on the belt loop along with “434” (probably a catalog number). Also scratched on the belt loop is “38/44” and “7 ½”. Holster shows light use with no damage, all the original stitching and no oiling. Heiser marked snap on front flap.
